'm looking to hire 40 people who can write approximately 20-30 articles per week as ghost writers. The length of the articles is not as important as the quality of the content.

Once I receive your application, I will send you some paperwork and an assignment for 5 articles, average of 500 words each. You will be paid $6 per article. Your articles will be graded. If your grade is high enough, I will send you another assignment at the rate of $10 per article. If your grade doesn’t meet my rigorous quality standards, I will refer you to another writing project manager who can assign you occasional work.

Overview:
This new Hired Guns client, a multifaceted media company with strong magazine and digital brands, is looking for an experienced Web Editor to help lead the genesis of an ambitious, fully functional Christian community site. Are you the answer to their prayers?

Gun Profile:
Expertise in imagining and launching immersive experience sites is key for this gig, as is the know-how to edit and run online properties; it would be great if you cut your teeth at a magazine or in a newsroom.

You should have a strong understanding about how to get users flocking to a community site -- with a full range of discussion boards, polls, photo galleries, and every other widget under the sun. Be ready and imaginative enough to translate these features to a community site devoted to Christians.

Nitty Gritty:
As Editor, you'll be responsible for developing original, site-specific content, managing stringers, and adapting articles from the companion magazine to make them Web-appropriate. A big chunk of your day will be culling and curating additional web content and blogs in order to make the site more robust, so pace, tempo, and agile editing are all must-haves in order for you to succeed in this role. Once the site is established, you'll be supervising three or four junior editors.

Bottom line, you will have a strong imprint on the overall design -- even marketing -- of the site.

The new blog is called Digital Pivot and it’s all about new media. Talent Zoo hosts several hot blogs including Beneath the Brand (which is geared towards marketing/branding) and Beyond Madison Avenue (which is all about the advertising world). We also just launched a PR focused blog called Flack Me. It’s an exciting time for bloggers at Talent Zoo!

Digital Pivot will be along the same lines as those blogs, but of course it will be 100% geared towards new media. We envision the blog posts to dig beneath the surface layer of media and share some unsung insight about new technologies– served with a little bit of humor. As you know, Talent Zoo is all about personality. We are seeking Bloggers who can share their experiences and opinions of new media/marketing/advertising as they know it (good, bad, and ugly).

To work this job, you will need to have good research skills and good writing skills. It looks like they will be needing people this year, and next year when they go worldwide.

Qualifications:

Excellent spelling, grammar, and writing skills are required.
Your internet research skills must be very good. We will help you to improve your lake-specific research skills.
You must pay careful attention to details. We need a high level of accuracy in our lake listings and require that you never violate copyrights.
You must have a high speed internet connection, because this job requires extensive research via the web.

There are some very exciting things happening behind the scenes here at Corporate Eye. We’re soon going to be expanding the range and scale of our services, and are recruiting people to help us with this.

At the moment we’re looking for a blogger with an interest in corporate media relations, who can write about good examples of best practices in the media section of corporate websites. We're mostly interested in the major listed companies (FTSE100, FTSE250, S&P500, Eurotop300 etc) but if a smaller company is doing something interesting in their Media section, we'd like you to write about it.

We’ll be looking for 2-3 posts per week, each of 500-800 words, and plan to pay US$20/£10 per post, monthly by PayPal. We’ll also post a mini-bio with a link to your own site if appropriate (we need to be sure our links out are work-appropriate because of our audience).

Each post should fall into one of the following categories:

discussion of tools or techniques used by companies,

comparison of how different companies handle media relations on the internet

discussion of the issues faced by companies with respect to media relations on their sites.

If you have ideas for other material, we’d be pleased to hear them.

Each post should contain a link to the site under discussion, and at least one image, ideally a screenshot of a relevant page on that corporate site. We like to use Snag-It for this, but this would be up to you. In case it matters to you: we use WordPress.
