Please send an email no more than two paragraphs in length, describing why you are perfect for this job. In the body of the email please also write a sample post of no more than 200 words on any timely, pop-culture subject of your choice. NO ATTACHMENTS, please.

http://bloggerparty.com/ - On this blogging website, you can add your Google adsense code. I believe it's a 50/50 split, but I can't say for sure. There aren't a whole lot of options for your blog design, but you will get a ton of hits when you blog here. Not only does your blog postings show up in the search results, but it shows up on the main page too. They only allow one to two links per post.
http://www.soulcast.com - I haven't blogged here for quite awhile. They do the Google adsense thing as well. You can only post up to five entries a day. I've heard that the blogs have a no-follow tag, so you might want to check into this. There are not a whole lot of customization options here.

You can add photos to blog entries and more.
http://www.blogstream.com/ - This place is another good place to blog, especially if you are new to it. They don't have many ways to customize your blog at all. I've heard that affiliate links, banners, etc are not allowed. It's a good place for a personal blog.

I am looking for a few great writers to blog for me on a part time per-post basis for a few months before transitioning into full time employees. I run http://earthfirst.com/, a new snarky smart green blog. We went live in February and have been doing a very slow public beta roll out. We're a Chicago based startup with angel funding going after bigger money to fund our blogging and video production work.
I'm a few months away from being able to bring on a few full time bloggers and I want to get started evaluating people now. If you have a passion for creating great content and the chops to write about green issues with a sharp, sarcastic, and fun voice and you would like to move into a full time spot sometime before early summer please email me at shea@earthfirst.com
We need someone who knows how to:
- Use Wordpress
- Create great headlines
- Write tags and SEO in a Box descriptions
- Use Photoshop or some other photo editor to manipulate and prepare photos for posting
- Hit deadlines and be rock solid dependable.
The compensation right now is $10-100/post, depending on length and complexity, and traffic bonuses. The full time spots I will be filling before Summer will have a base rate of $2,000- $2,500/month with performance based bonuses pay on top.
To apply, please send the following to me at shea@earthfirst.com.
- 100 words or less on who you are and why you want to write for me.
- 50 words on less on why you want to be a full time blogger
- 25 words or less on what you don't like about our site (http://earthfirst.com)
- two 200 words or less posts that you'd write for EarthFirst. Take a look at what we've written about before and write three posts that you'd be excited about publishing to the site. We won't be using any of these posts on the site unless we hire you, they are just used to see if you can hit our desired style and voice. Pay close attention to formating and make your posts match. Please include links to photos that you would use, making sure to use art that gives us rights. Creative Commons is good for this, but you probably already know that if you're the kind of person we want to hire.

I sell tea at Tippyleaf.com and I need someone to write the blog. Someone with an informal, personal style that makes the blog fun to read and communicates a real love for tea (so you need to love tea – otherwise it shows). The job pays US$400 per month, for which I would like 8 posts each month, each of 250-500 words (the word count is not paramount). Topics would include tea types, tea areas of the world, tea in culture, tea paraphernalia such as biscuits etc. I can give you ideas, and you will also come up with your own. We already have a blog but it is too dry – I don’t enjoy reading it, so why would anyone else. You need to be comfortable using Wordpress and working from home. Email tippy@tippyleaf.com
