Video expert needed for video focused website - Work from home

We are a fast-growing video-focused web startup, currently in need of a video expert to help us manage our growing collection of clips and broadcast-quality footage.

We're looking for someone with a deep knowlege of:
• compression and conversion of digital video
• broadcast and HD standards
• video file types and formats
• video editing (FCP, Premiere, Avid, etc).

You should also be very web savvy, have an excellent ability to communicate with people, and be excited about the prospect of taking ownership of your work in fast-growing startup atmosphere.

Your job might include:
• reviewing video clips for content and quality
• converting broadcast quality clips between formats
• tagging clips with metadata
• handling customer service questions and requests
• whatever comes up -- we're a small company, growing quickly, so there will be lots of opportunities - flexibility / ability to multitask is a plus.

This is a freelance / part-time position that could quickly evolve into something longer term. Hours are flexible, and you will be able to work in our Manhattan offices or remotely.

We are looking for incredibly intelligent, ambitious people who can become an integral part of our company as we transition from scrappy startup to a leader in our space.
