Texas Only- Benefits Consultant needed - Work at home job lead

A dynamic, rapidly growing national employee benefits service provider, is seeking an experienced Benefits Consultant to work from home and handle the day-to-day servicing of our small business clients in the Texas market. This is outstanding career opportunity for employee benefits specialists looking to telecommute and join an innovative company that has created an exciting niche in the employee benefits space.  This is a salaried position with a quarterly bonus plan.

Duties:

• Successfully service and maintain assigned book of business;
• Manage the entire renewal process;
• Conduct needs analysis at renewal time;
• Advise clients in reducing costs while offering competitive benefits options;
• Assist with enrollment, claims, billing and other service issues that arise;
• Build relationships with clients through proactive communications;
• Communicate and educate clients on latest trends, concerns and changes in the industry.

Job Requirements:

• Prior experience in broker agency or benefit administration firm a must;
• Current life and health insurance license;
• Must live in Texas;
• Strong attention to detail;
• Familiarity and practical knowledge of quoting process and tools;
• Must be self-motivated and disciplined;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Strong organizational skills;
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; familiar with database applications;
• Knowledge of health and ancillary products;
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment;
• Minimum 3 years experience in the insurance industry.
