Some thoughts, questions, and comments on Entrecard

I'm a big fan of Entrecard. I love it.

It's increased my traffic, and I've surfed a lot of blogs I would not have known about without Entrecard.

I've noticed that some blogs mention on posts there top viewers through the Entrecard system. I would love to do this, but I'm unclear on how to tally it up. I know I could look in my drops inbox on the website, but surely there is a better way?

The only true complaint I have about Entrecard regards advertising and drops. Complaint is really a strong word, but for lack of a better one I will use that. Most of the people that want to advertise on my blog have the courtesy to drop a card first. There are a few that don't. They just attempt to advertise without seeing what my blog is like. When I attempt to advertise on someone else's blog, I always drop a card.

I love accepting advertisements on my blog, but please have the common courtesy to at least check it out. Without doing that, how do you know you even want to advertise on it?

For those of you that have no clue as to what I'm talking about, Entrecard is a very easy way to increase your blog's traffic. Very affordable too. It's free. You simply register and add a widget to your blog. Then, let the surfing begin. By surfing other people's websites and clicking on the drop button, you earn an Entrecard credit. You can use these credits to advertise on other's blogs. This increases the traffic to your blog. Not to mention once you are listed on the Entrecard directory, you are going to get a lot of hits from the other members. It's a win-win for everyone.
