Internet guru needed

We are looking for an internet guru to help launch a search site that promises to be a winner in the marketplace. This is grassroots so there are still plenty of questions to be answered. We are ready to begin now, so if this sounds like you send your resume focusing on your skills and knowledge base.

You may be a student or a professional with five years experience. What matters is the fit.

If this is not you perhaps you can pass this on to someone you think would be just right for the job. We’ll work out the compensation, but there could be an equity position for the right person.

The candidate should:

• Be proficient in HTML and Photoshop, and familiar with JavaScript, CSS, ASP/VBScript, PHP
• Have the ability to maintain MySQL databases in replication and cluster configurations.
• Be able to diagnose load and configuration issues, and to optimize SQL queries. Should have a working knowledge of Apache, PHP, and Linux with an understanding of how these interact with MySQL.
• Able to optimize sites to increase organic traffic and sales, the SEO/Design and comfortable in a support role to execute the strategies that you and the SEO Manager develop to optimize a client’s web site.
• Have knowledge of web standards.
